Comunidade de segurança: a teoria no conceito

Abstract

Este artigo incita o debate acerca da teoria de comunidades de segurança. Buscam-se três objetivos básicos:avaliar as controvérsias acadêmicas em torno desse marco teórico, expondo possíveis soluções advindasde estudos recentes; mostrar a compatibilidade entre a teoria e os conceitos de segurança tradicional ede segurança humana; e esclarecer a relação de complementaridade entre a teoria de comunidades desegurança e a teoria dos complexos regionais de segurança.
